Statement by the Judiciary

Magistrate Dr Cheung Kwan-ming sadly passed away in the morning on July 24. Dr Cheung joined the Judiciary in 2009 as a magistrate and worked in the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts before his death. Dr Cheung will be greatly missed.
The Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal, Mr Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, expressed deep sadness over Dr Cheung’s death and offered his deepest condolences to Dr Cheung’s family.
