The Transport Department (TD) announced today (July 22) that an updated version of the "Hong Kong eRouting" mobile application has been launched. Parking information is included in the new version to further assist motorists.

     The updated mobile application not only provides locations of on-street parking spaces for various types of vehicles, but also the exact locations of entrances and exits of off-street car parks. Motorists can find the driving routes to and from the car parks conveniently using the mobile application.

     Moreover, the updated version of the mobile application also contains information provided by car park operators on real-time parking vacancies at some car parks. The TD will continue to encourage more car park operators to provide their parking vacancy information so as to help the motorists searching for parking spaces via "Hong Kong eRouting".

     Updated versions of "Hong Kong eRouting" for iPhone, Android phone and Android tablet are now available for free download. Members of the public can also scan the attached QR code or download the mobile application through the TD's website (www.td.gov.hk) direct. The launch of the iPad version is planned for later this year.
