Fatal traffic accident in Castle Peak

A passer-by made a report to Police at about 7.55pm yesterday, saying that he found a bicycle near Tai Lam Chung Reservoir and was worried that an accident might have taken place. The 32-year-old man was later rescued by firemen from the reservoir, and was certified dead at scene.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3661 3800.
