FS to attend Ninth HK Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting

     The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, will lead a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government delegation to visit Macau tomorrow (July 15) for the Ninth Hong Kong Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting.

     Hong Kong and Macau will review co-operation between the two places and achievements made in the past year. The two sides will also discuss and map out the co-operation directions for the coming year.

     Government officials attending the meeting include the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam; the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Ms Chang King-yiu; the Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Ivy Law; the Project Manager (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Project Management Office) of the Highways Department, Mr Albert Lee; the Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry, Miss Winky So, and representatives from other bureaux and departments.  During Mr Tam's absence, the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Ronald Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs.

     Mr Tsang and the delegation will return to Hong Kong in the evening of the same day.
