Police met with Mr Lam Wing Kee again this morning (July 6) and recorded a statement. During the meeting, Mr Lam provided supplementary information on matters he mentioned earlier. The meeting was held for about two and a half hours and concluded.
Besides, Police have assessed the situations of Mr Lam. Although there is no evidence to suggest that Mr Lam's personal safety is at risk at this stage, in view of his worries, Police have notified Mr Lam that Police could provide personal protection for him. Mr Lam agreed that he would contact Police after discussing with his friends.
Police will take appropriate follow-up action according to the information provided by Mr Lam.
