Reporter: Did the Hong Kong Government come under increasing pressure to turn over Mr Lam? And what kind of protection will you offer him?

Secretary for Security: As I have mentioned earlier, we act in accordance with the Hong Kong law. And there is no legal arrangement for the transfer of persons to the Mainland authorities. And, the Hong Kong Government will handle all cases in accordance with the law of Hong Kong.

Acting Commissioner of Police: On the question of protection, we will be in contact with Mr Lam. We will reassess the risk that he is facing, if there is any, and then we will provide suitable measures to counter those so-called risks.

Reporter: ... know that there would be such a video of confession being shown in the audience of Hong Kong officials? Would it in any way breach the dignity and rights of any Hong Kong resident in Hong Kong?

Secretary for Justice: Before the meeting, we aimed to have communications and discussions on the case relating to Mr Lam. Before the meeting, we did not know the manner in which the information would be supplied. At the meeting, we were shown the video.
