Four Legislative Council Members conducted a site visit to Tung Chung and Tin Shui Wai today (July 4) to follow up on a deputation's request for provision of public market facilities and setting up of bazaars.
Accompanied by representatives of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and the Housing Department, Members visited three sites in Tung Chung and Tin Shui Wai to study the feasibility for setting up bazaars.
Members participating in the site visit are Duty Roster Members Mrs Regina Ip (Convenor) and Mr Chan Chi-chuen, as well as invited Members, Mr Leung Yiu-chung and Dr Fernando Cheung.
