Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, at a media session with the Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, and the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, at the ground floor lobby of the Office of the Chief Executive today (July 4):
Reporter: Mr Leung, would you ask your Secretaries to specifically deal with central special investigative units? Because you told the media before that you have not heard about this, would you ask your Secretaries to follow up on that?
Chief Executive: It will be a comprehensive and in-depth review of the existing mechanism which has been in use for more than 10 years, so we do not rule out at this stage any particular aspect that exists in this mechanism.
