SCS expresses profound regret and sadness over the passing of Senior Fireman Mr Samuel Hui

The Secretary for the Civil Service, Mr Clement Cheung, today (June 24) expressed profound regret and sadness over the passing of Senior Fireman Mr Samuel Hui while tackling the No. 4 alarm fire on Ngau Tau Kok Road.
He said, "I highly commend Mr Hui for his gallantry and selfless devotion to duty, and extend the deepest condolences to his family on behalf of all civil servants."
Mr Cheung added that the Civil Service Bureau and the Fire Services Department will strive to provide support and assistance to the family of Mr Hui. He also offered his best wishes to those colleagues who have sustained injuries for an early recovery.
