The accident investigation team of the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) today (June 17) released Accident Bulletin 2/2016 in relation to the landing accident involving a Cessna 152 aircraft (registration mark B-HPA) from the Hong Kong Aviation Club at Shek Kong Airfield, Yuen Long, New Territories, on May 21, 2016.
"The bulletin contains facts relating to the accident as determined up to the time of issue, and must be regarded as tentative at this stage," a spokesman for the CAD said.
"In accordance with the Hong Kong Civil Aviation (Investigation of Accidents) Regulations (Chapter 448B), the accident investigation team will continue with the investigation and will conduct more in-depth analysis of the relevant data and information in order to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident," he added.
