Three Legislative Council (LegCo) Members conducted a site visit today (June 14) to Po Toi Island (Island) to follow up on a request for provision of barrier-free access on the Island.
Members arrived at the Island by ferry in the morning to meet with the deputation. Accompanied by representatives of the Home Affairs Department and the Islands District Office, Members walked along the existing pedestrian passage connecting the Po Toi Pier and Tai Wan to explore the feasible options for constructing barrier-free access.
Members participating in the site visit included LegCo Redress System Duty Roster Member
Mr Chan Chi-chuen (Convenor) and other invited Members, Mr Leung Yiu-chung and Miss Chan Yuen-han.
