Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O in the small hours today (June 11) in which a 27-year-old woman died.
At about 0.20am, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 41-year-old man was travelling along Mau Yip Road towards Wan Hang Road. When approaching near MTR Po Lam Station, it reportedly knocked down the 27-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.05am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
