New District Officer for Kowloon City assumes office (with photo)

Mr Franco Kwok Wai-fan will assume the post of District Officer (Kowloon City) tomorrow (May 30), succeeding Mr William Tsui.
Mr Kwok joined the Administrative Service in 1996. He has served in various bureaux and departments, including the Home Affairs Department; the former Education and Manpower Bureau; the former Planning and Lands Bureau; the former Environment, Transport and Works Bureau; the former Constitutional Affairs Bureau; the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau; and the Labour and Welfare Bureau.
He was the Assistant Director of Home Affairs before taking up the new post.
