Police today (May 16) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Castle Peak on March 5.
At 11.05pm on that night, Police received a report that a male dead body was found inside a unit in Hong Lung House of Lung Yat Estate.
The deceased was believed to be a 69-year-old man of medium build. He had short hair and was wearing a T-shirt with checker pattern, blue trousers and brown shoes. An identity card bearing the name of "Lin Po Hai" was found at scene.
Initial investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Anyone who knows the deceased or has any information about his next-of-kin is urged to contact the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Castle Peak Division on 3661 5936.
