Some of Hong Kong's bright young minds have been showcasing their innovative ideas at the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2016. Their creative designs used science and technology to make people's everyday lives easier.
Jointly organised by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and Hong Kong Science Museum, this year's event attracted more than 800 students from 88 secondary schools to showcase their science talent.
News.gov.hk spoke to two students about their inventions and to one of the organisers who explained the importance of nurturing creativity through innovation and research from a young age.
