Appeal for information on dead body found in Castle Peak (with photo)

     Police today (April 27) appealed to the public for information on a body found in Castle Peak on March 7.

     About 2 pm that day, Police received a report that a man collapsed at the seashore near Siu Lam Interchange on Tuen Mun Highway in Castle Peak. The man was certified dead at scene. Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

     The deceased was believed to be a male aged about 50. He was about 1.7 metres tall, 75 kilograms in weight and of fat build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt, brown trousers and a pair of white sport shoes. No identity document was found on the body.

     Anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer is urged to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Castle Peak Division on 3661 5936.
