| Speaking at the award presentation ceremony of the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme 2016, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Nicholas W Yang, encouraged awardees to strive for excellence and pursue a career related to innovation and technology. He said the continued success of the scheme is the result of long-standing collaboration between the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, HSBC and the Government. The scheme offers outstanding undergraduates in Hong Kong the opportunity to widen their international horizons and gain industry experience as well as nurturing their passion and commitment towards science and technology.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award Scheme has offered 25 undergraduates per year a scholarship of up to HK$150,000. |
