Fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi in the small hours today (April 15) in which a 50-year-old man died.
     
     About 4am, a private car driven by the 50-year-old man was travelling along Tsing Kwai Highway towards Tsuen Wan. When reaching near Kwai Chung Container Terminal 7, it reportedly lost control and rammed onto the kerb.

     The driver was trapped inside the compartment and rescued by firemen. Sustaining head injuries, he was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.37am.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
