The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
A briefing cum luncheon between the Legislative Council (LegCo) Members and the Consuls-General in Hong Kong (CGs) as well as members of the Association of Honorary Consuls in Hong Kong & Macau SAR, China (AHC members) was organized today (April 11) in the LegCo Complex, which provided an opportunity for them to exchange views on the work of LegCo and issues of mutual concern.
The President of LegCo, Mr Jasper Tsang, conducted a briefing for the attending CGs and AHC members on the work of LegCo before the luncheon hosted by him.
The luncheon was attended by Mr Abraham Shek, Mr Andrew Leung, Mr Alan Leong, Mr Ma Fung-kwok, Mr Kenneth Leung, Dr Fernando Cheung, Mr Sin Chung-kai, Dr Helena Wong and Mr Ip Kin-yuen. Twenty-four CGs or their representatives and four Honorary Consuls attended the briefing and luncheon.
