At the invitation of the Hungarian National Assembly, President of the Legislative Council (LegCo), Mr Jasper Tsang, will conduct a four-day visit to Budapest in Hungary from today (April 4) to April 7.
While in Budapest, Mr Tsang will visit the Hungarian National Assembly to meet with the Speaker and members. Mr Tsang believes that the visit will provide a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the Legislatures of Hong Kong and Hungary.
In addition to meeting senior government officials and academics during his stay in Budapest, Mr Tsang will deliver a guest lecture at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He will also pay a courtesy call on Chinese Ambassador to Hungary, Mr Duan Jielong.
Mr Tsang will be accompanied by Secretary General of the LegCo Secretariat, Mr Kenneth Chen, on his visit to Hungary.
