The Labour Department has called for enrolment for the seminar on the Employment Ordinance on April 27 (Wednesday) at 10am at the Theatre of Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, 111 Shau Kei Wan Road, Hong Kong.
The main provisions of the Employment Ordinance (including wages, leave and termination of contract) and points to note for the employment of foreign domestic helpers, the Minimum Wage Ordinance and employers' obligations under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance will be introduced.
The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the enrolment deadline is April 20. The enrolment form can be downloaded from the department's website (www.labour.gov.hk). For enquiries, please call 2399 2386.
