The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will depart for Macau tomorrow morning (March 31) to attend the 2016 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF).
Upon arrival in Macau, Mr Wong will jointly officiate at the MIECF opening ceremony with government officials of the Macau Special Administrative Region (Macau SAR) and other officiating guests. He will also tour the exhibition and meet with participating exhibitors from Hong Kong. Afterwards, Mr Wong will attend a networking luncheon hosted by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.
Mr Wong will also take the opportunity to get an update on environmental work in Macau.
Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong after attending a green dinner to be hosted by the Macau SAR Government.
