New District Officer for Wan Chai assumes office (with photo)

Mr Rick Chan will assume the post of District Officer (Wan Chai) tomorrow (March 22), succeeding Miss Angela Luk.
Mr Chan joined the Administrative Service in 1999. He has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Health and Welfare Bureau, the former Housing, Planning and Lands Bureau, the Security Bureau, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Home Affairs Bureau, the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and the Trade and Industry Department.
He was the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary for Education before taking up the new post.
