The 600-square-metre, multifunctional Hong Kong IngDan Experience Centre at Cyberport showcases a series of innovative IoT consumer products. It is also a community for innovators and entrepreneurs to promote their products and host workshops, events or forums on product releases and exchanging ideas.

"Hong Kong has a thriving startup scene and is being recognised as an innovation hub in the region. The city's position as the gateway to the Mainland market and the rest of the world offers a compelling reason for us to have a base here to achieve our long-term goal by making IngDan the global smart device hub. The Hong Kong centre will be a series of over 20 similar experience centres that we plan to set up around the world, including major hubs such as Silicon Valley in the US and Israel," the General Manager of IngDan (Hong Kong), Ms Vivia Wang, said.

She added, "Our Hong Kong centre is aimed at bridging global entrepreneurs with the massive supply chain and innovation ecosystem in Mainland China. It offers not just support for innovative start-ups in Hong Kong, but also connects them with suppliers and investors in an unprecedented smart device ecosystem, allowing every stakeholder to take the fruits from the latest innovation."

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang welcomed the opening of the IngDan Experience Centre in Hong Kong and said, "Hong Kong's start-up ecosystem, and IoT industry in particular, has been growing fast thanks to the city's strong connectivity with the Mainland market and manufacturing base. With IngDan's unique network, the company can no doubt add to Hong Kong's status as a leading IoT hub in the region."
