Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate two public events to be held in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island this Sunday (March 20).
Kowloon

The following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 6am to noon:
A. Road closure and traffic diversions
Tung Fong Street will be closed. Affected vehicles will be diverted via Waterloo Road, Dundas Street, Nathan Road and Pitt Street.
B. Suspension of parking spaces
The on-street parking spaces at Tung Fong Street will be suspended.
Any vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements will be towed away without prior notice.
Hong Kong Island

A. Road closure
Hung Shing Street north of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau will be closed from 10am to 1pm.
The following roads will be closed from 1pm to 5pm:
- Main Street, Ap Lei Chau between Yuet Hoi Street and Shan Ming Street;
- Hung Shing Street;
- Wai Fung Street;
- Ping Lan Street;
- Shan Ming Street;
- San Shi Street; and
- Ho King Street.
Yuet Hoi Street and Wah Ting Street will be intermittently closed from 1pm to 5pm.
B. Traffic diversions
From 1pm to 5pm, Yuet Hoi Street will be converted from two-lane one-way traffic to two-lane two-way traffic.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave the car parks along the closed roads.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
