The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (March 18) invited tenders for the contract for the Development of Kwu Tung North and Fanling North New Development Areas - Advance Works and First Stage Works - Stage 2 Ground Investigation Works.
The works mainly comprise land ground investigation in the Kwu Tung North and Fanling North New Development Areas and Sha Tin A Kung Kok, including trial pits, drillholes, boulder surveys, utility surveys, in-situ tests and laboratory testing of soil and rock samples.
The works are scheduled to commence in June and will take about 23 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned AECOM Asia Company Limited to supervise the works. Interested contractors may obtain the tender forms and other particulars from the company at 8/F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Sha Tin.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tender is noon on April 29.
