Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate two public events to be held in Tai Po and Hong Kong Island this Sunday (March 13).
Tai Po
------
A. Road closure
Chong San Road between Fo Shing Road and Science Park Road will be closed from 6am to 11am.
Fo Yin Road between Chong San Road and Fo Hing Street will be closed from 6am to noon.
B. Traffic diversions
The following traffic diversions will be implemented during the road closure period:
- Traffic along northbound Science Park Road heading for Chong San Road will be diverted via roundabout, southbound Science Park Road, roundabout, westbound Chak Cheung Street, roundabout, slip road, northbound Tolo Highway, slip road, Tai Po Road - westbound Yuen Chau Tsai, roundabout, Tai Po Road - eastbound Yuen Chau Tsai, slip road, southbound Tolo Highway, slip road, roundabout and southbound Chong San Road; and
- Traffic along southbound Chong San Road heading for Science Park Road will be diverted via Fo Shing Road, northbound Chong San Road, roundabout, slip road, southbound Tolo Highway, slip road, roundabout and northbound Science Park Road.
Hong Kong Island

The following roads will be intermittently closed from 3pm until the crowd is dispersed:
- Westbound Hennessy Road; and
- Westbound Queensway.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave car parks on the closed roads during the road closure period.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
