The Town Planning Board (the Board) today (March 11) announced amendments to the approved Cheung Sha Wan Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site at Yu Chau West Street for business use and a site at Cheung Shun Street for commercial use. Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes to include "Art Studio (excluding those involving direct provision of services or goods)" as Column 1 use under Schedule II of the "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Business" zone and the "Residential (Group E)" zone, with corresponding amendment to the "Place of Recreation, Sports or Culture" use of the said two zones. The Explanatory Statement is also updated to reflect the above amendments and the general information on various land use zones where appropriate.
The draft Cheung Sha Wan OZP No. S/K5/36, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Sham Shui Po District Office.
Any person may make written representations in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before May 11. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Cheung Sha Wan OZP No. S/K5/36 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board¡¦s website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
