Appeal for information on missing man in Lantau South (with photo)

     Police today (March 2) appealed to the public for information on a man who went missing in Lantau South.

     John James Rhind, aged 80, went missing after he left his residence in Pui O on Lantau South last night (March 1). His family member made a report to Police on the same day.

     He is about 1.85 metres tall, 84 kilograms in weight and of normal build. He has a long face with white complexion and short greyish white hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, brownish black T-shirt, grey trousers, hiking boots and carrying a black walking stick.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing man or may have seen him is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories South on 3661 1171, 3661 1175 or 9886 0075 or email to rmpu-nts-1@police.gov.hk, or contact any Police station.
