Police investigate a police officer suspected attempt suicide case

Police are investigating a police officer suspected attempt suicide case in Ngau Tau Kok Police Station last night (February 20).
About 8.21pm, Police found an on-duty male Senior Police Constable, who was attached to the Patrol Subunit of Ngau Tau Kok Police Division, was injured inside a male restroom of Ngau Tau Kok Police Station. He had a gun shot wound on chest, and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
Upon initial investigation, it is believed that he attempted suicide with his service revolver.
Investigation by District Crime Squad of Sau Mau Ping District is underway.
