Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong today (February 1), in which a 60-year-old man died.
About 7.45am, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 49-year-old man was travelling along Cha Kwo Ling Road towards Kwun Tong. When approaching 422 Cha Kwo Ling Road, it reportedly knocked down the man who was riding a bicycle across the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was certified dead at scene at 8.03am.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
