The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (January 29) congratulated Hong Kong cycling athlete Cheung King-lok on winning a gold medal for Hong Kong in the Track Cycling - Men Elite Individual Pursuit at the 2016 Asian Cycling Championships held in Japan.
"Cheung King-lok has emerged stronger in the course of the championships and captured three gold medals. This is a great achievement and we are thrilled by his outstanding performance.
"We would like to thank the Head Coach of the Hong Kong Cycling Team, Mr Shen Jinkang, as well as other members and staff of the Supporting Team for their long-term dedication in obtaining good results for Hong Kong," he said.
