The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department today (January 26) urged the public to suspend the use of the power cords for Microsoft Surface Pro, Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablets purchased on or before July 15, 2015. The power cords may be damaged if bent repeatedly and sharply, or wrapped tightly. Damaged power cords may pose threats of electric shock, or become overheated and catch fire.   Close
