Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, on the Copyright (Amendment) Bill 2014 at a media session in the Legislative Council Complex today (January 8):
Reporter: But you are saying that they can't actually attend the meeting because they are at the Finance Committee meeting. Is the timing not right?
Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development: This is the best arrangement that we could come up with. And this is, I think, very timely. We just heard the comments that they were not able to meet with them and they would like to meet with them. So we made that arrangement as best as we could. This is not easy to arrange for so many representatives from the industry to meet with them. So this is really a very precious opportunity for all parties to meet. And the room is right next to one another.
