Seminar for SMEs on "Design and Intellectual Property"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Design and Intellectual Property" on January 27 (Wednesday), exploring how to enhance brand value through design and related intellectual property protection issues. Industry representatives will also share their successful experience.

     The speakers will include the Chairman of the Design Council of Hong Kong, Mr Eric Yim; the Deputy Chairman of the Copyright Tribunal, Mr Anthony Tong; the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Memorigin Watch Company Ltd, Mr William Shum; and the Founder and President of Toy2R Group Ltd, Dr Raymond Choy.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, Exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.

     Those interested are invited to register with SUCCESS by January 25 (Monday).
