The Government announced today (December 31) the appointment of Mr Steven Ho Chun-yin as a member of the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) for two years from January 1, 2016.
The Government also re-appointed Ms Anita Fung Yuen-mei as a member of the AA for one year from June 1, 2016.
Two members, namely Mr Chan Kam-lam and Mr Albert Ho Chun-yan, will be leaving the AA on January 1, 2016. The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, said he was grateful to Mr Chan and Mr Ho for their invaluable contributions to the work of the AA during their tenure as members.
Under the Airport Authority Ordinance, the Chairman and members of the AA are appointed by the Chief Executive. The appointments are published in the Government Gazette today.
