Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui at noon today (December 24) in which an 80-year-old man died.
About 12.10pm, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by the 80-year-old man reportedly rammed into iron railings when it drove out from an open space in Ngai Yuen San Tsuen.
Sustaining no apparent injuries, he was rushed to North District Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 1.05pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are under way.
