The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
The Legislative Council (LegCo) Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will hold public hearings on "Reduction and recycling of food waste" (Chapter 2) and "Government's efforts in managing municipal solid waste" (Chapter 1) of the Director of Audit's Report No.65 at 9am and noon next Tuesday (December 29) in Conference Room 1 of the LegCo Complex respectively.
Twelve and eight witnesses have been invited to appear before the above hearings respectively to respond to points raised in the Report and answer questions asked by PAC members.
