The Town Planning Board (TPB) today (December 18) launched the Electronic Planning Application Submission System (EPASS).
Electronic submission (e-submission) provides an additional channel for the public to make applications in electronic format under sections 12A, 16, 16A(2) and 17 of the Town Planning Ordinance online.
Nine new e-forms and new Guidance Notes on e-submission, providing information on the requirements and procedures of making e-submission, have been endorsed by the TPB.
Corresponding to the new provision for e-submission, the TPB has also endorsed the revisions to the TPB Guidelines No. 30A on "Publication of Applications for Amendment of Plan, Planning Permission and Review and Submission of Comments on Various Applications under the Ordinance" and the four existing Guidance Notes on Planning Applications.
For hard copy submission, the TPB has decided to allow flexibility for the public to submit a mix of soft and hard copies of planning and technical reports in making applications and endorsed revisions to the checklist for submission of documents for sections 12A and 16 applications and the four existing Guidance Notes on Planning Applications.
The above documents are now available to the public at the TPB website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb/).
