The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will pay a duty visit to Beijing from December 22 to 24.
During his visit, Mr Leung will meet with state leaders and brief them on the latest economic, social and political developments in Hong Kong. He will also pay visits to central ministries.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Edward Yau; the Director of Information Services, Mr Patrick Nip; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Carlson Chan; the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Anson Lai.
Mr Leung will depart for Beijing in the evening of December 21 and return to Hong Kong in the evening of December 24. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
