The Town Planning Board today (December 11) announced amendments to the approved Central District Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of the Murray Road Multi-storey Carpark site from "Government, Institution or Community" and an area shown as 'Road' to "Commercial (3)" ("C(3)") for commercial development; the rezoning of the eastern part of the existing Queensway Plaza site from an area shown as 'Road' and "Open Space" ("O") to "C(4)" for commercial development; the rezoning of the western part of the existing Queensway Plaza site from an area shown as 'Road' and "C" to "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Elevated Walkway cum Retail Uses"; and the rezoning of the existing bus lay-by between the Queensway Plaza and Queensway from "O" to an area shown as 'Road'.
Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings and the planning area, where appropriate.
The draft Central District OZP No. S/H4/15 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office, the Central and Western District Office and the Wan Chai District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before February 11, 2016. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Central District OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb/).
