The Town Planning Board today (December 11) announced amendments to the approved Yuen Long Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site at the junction of Shap Pat Heung Road and Tai Shu Ha Road West in Ma Tin Pok from "Government, Institution or Community(1)" and "Village Type Development" to "Government, Institution or Community(5)" for proposed youth hostel development.
The Notes and the Explanatory Statement of the OZP are also amended to mainly reflect the amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings.
The draft Yuen Long OZP No. S/YL/22 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long West District Planning Office, the Yuen Long District Office, the Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee and the Ping Shan Rural Committee.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before February 11, 2016. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Yuen Long OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
