The Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) appointed today (December 3) Rider Levett Bucknall Limited as the quantity surveying consultant for the Kai Tak Multi-purpose Sports Complex (MPSC) project.
"The quantity surveying consultant will assist the HAB in reviewing the cost of the main works, preparing tender documents and assessing tenders for the main works. It will also assist us in reviewing the different procurement strategies," an HAB spokesman said.
The quantity surveying consultancy is part of the MPSC pre-construction works approved by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council in July 2015. The Kai Tak complex will provide new sports facilities for the community as well as world-class venues that will reinforce Hong Kong's profile as a centre for international sporting events.
