SCMA and officials tour polling stations of District Council Election (with photos)

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, and officials of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau visited various polling stations of the District Council (DC) Election today (November 22) to observe the polling arrangements and operation of the polling stations.

     Mr Tam cast vote in the DC Election this morning at the polling station at Sai Ying Pun Community Complex Community Hall in the University Constituency. He also visited the polling station in the Fung Tak Constituency at the Fung Tak Estate Community Centre, Wong Tai Sin, in the evening to see for himself the operation of the polling station and the work of the polling staff.

     The Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Ms Chang King-yiu, visited the polling station at Boundary Street Sports Centre No.1 in the Mong Kok East Constituency this morning.

     The Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Ronald Chan, also visited the polling station at HKTA YYI Shek Wai Kok Primary School in the Shek Wai Kok Constituency and two dedicated polling stations at Tai Lam Correctional Institution and Happy Valley Police Station respectively. The dedicated polling stations are set up for electors who are imprisoned, remanded or detained by the Correctional Services Department and other law enforcement agencies.
