The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Secretary of Commerce of the United States (US), Ms Penny Pritzker, at the Chief Executive's Office this afternoon (November 20) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung emphasised that Hong Kong enjoys the dual advantages of "one country" and "two systems". He encouraged more US companies to invest in Hong Kong and explore more business opportunities by leveraging on the city's great development potential under the country's "Belt and Road" initiative and Hong Kong's unique role as a "super-connector".
He said he hoped that Hong Kong and the US could further strengthen exchanges and co-operation on all fronts.
