Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Stanley last night (November 18) in which a 48-year-old man died.
About 9.06pm yesterday, the 48-year-old man was riding a bicycle along Hong Kong Trail towards Southern District. When approaching Tai Tam Upper Reservoir, the man reportedly felt unwell and collapsed.
The cyclist was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 10.45pm yesterday.
Investigations will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island.
