Police are investigating a murder case in Tuen Mun in which a 58-year-old man was killed this morning (November 15).
About 5.43am, Police received a report that a man was lying unconsciously outside a village house of Sun Fung Wai on Castle Peak Road - Lam Tei.
Police sped to the scene and found the 58-year-old man lying unconsciously with neck injuries outside the house. He was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.28am.
Initial investigations revealed that the man was earlier attacked by a 42 year-old man after a dispute in a unit in Nai Wai.
A knife in suspected connection with the case was seized at the murder scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun District are underway.
