Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Causeway Bay this Saturday (November 14) and Sunday (November 15) to facilitate a public parade.
 
Road closure
------------
 
     The following roads will be closed from 7.30pm to 10pm on November 14:
 
- Northbound Yun Ping Road between Lan Fong Road and Kai Chiu Road; and
- Westbound Kai Chiu Road between Yun Ping Road and Lee Garden Road.
 
     The following roads may be intermittently closed from 8pm on November 14 until the crowd is dispersed:
 
- Hysan Avenue; and
- Yun Ping Road.
 
     The following roads will be closed from 2.30pm to 5pm on November 15:
 
- Great George Street;
- Westbound Kingston Street; and
- Paterson Street between Kingston Street and Great George Street.
 
     The following roads may be closed from 2.30pm to 5pm on November 15:
 
- Sugar Street;
- Cleveland Street;
- Eastbound Kingston Street;
- Paterson Street between Gloucester Road and Kingston Street;
- Northbound Gloucester Road between Causeway Road and Gloucester Road service road;
- Southbound Gloucester Road between Causeway Road and Gloucester Road service road;
- U-turn slip road between southbound and northbound Gloucester Road near Causeway Road; and
- Southbound Tai Hang Road Flyover.
 
Traffic diversions
------------------
 
     Traffic on northbound Yun Ping Road will be diverted to Lan Fong Road from 7.30pm to 10pm on November 14.
 
     The following traffic diversions will be implemented from 2.30pm to 5pm on November 15:
 
- Traffic along southbound Cleveland Street cannot turn right to westbound Kingston Street;
- Traffic along southbound Paterson Street must turn left to eastbound Kingston Street; and
- Traffic along northbound Gloucester Road cannot turn left to westbound Kingston Street.
 
     The following traffic diversions may be implemented from 2.30pm to 5pm on November 15:
 
- Traffic along eastbound Yee Wo Street cannot enter Sugar Street;
- Traffic along westbound Gloucester Road service road cannot turn left to Cleveland Street and southbound Paterson Street;
- Traffic along eastbound Victoria Park Road Flyover cannot turn right to southbound Gloucester Road. Traffic heading for Tai Hang will be diverted to eastbound Victoria Park Road, Wing Hing Street, King¡¦s Road and Tung Lo Wan Road; and
- Traffic along southbound Victoria Park Road Flyover must turn right to westbound Gloucester Road service road.
 
Suspension of car parks

     All car parks within the road closure area will  be suspended from 2.30pm to 5pm on November 15.
 
     All vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct will be towed away without prior notice.
 
     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
