Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan last night (November 11) in which a 27-year-old man died.
At about 7.08pm yesterday, a private car driven by a 41-year-old man was travelling along Kwai Chung Rd towards Kwai Chung. When reaching near Kwai Chung Container Terminal 4, it reportedly knocked down the 27-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.40pm. The private car driver, who felt unwell after the accident, was also sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are underway.
