Hearing arrangements for Commission of Inquiry into Excess Lead Found in Drinking Water

The following is issued on behalf of the Commission of Inquiry into Excess Lead Found in Drinking Water:

     To follow up with its experts on the Inquiry, at the hearing next Monday (November 9) the Commission of Inquiry into Excess Lead Found in Drinking Water will deal only with matters relating to two witnesses, namely Mr Mok Hoi-kwong and Mr Siu Kin-wong, who were summonsed to attend the hearing of the Inquiry. The Commission will not hear testimony from any witnesses on that day. The hearing will be adjourned on Tuesday (November 10).  

     The hearing will resume on Wednesday (November 11), and continue on weekdays until further notice.  

     Unless otherwise directed by the Commission, the hearing time each day will be from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

     The Commission's hearing is open to the public and media, and is held at the Hearing Room on 1/F, 1 Battery Path, Central, Hong Kong (former Court of Final Appeal Building). There will also be a simultaneous closed-circuit video/audio broadcast of the proceedings to the Hearing Transmission Galleries in the same building.
